What he’s doing: Havlicek has mostly avoided the spotlight since his playing retirement in 1978, when he said, “I don’t have to work if I don’t want to.” He reportedly has invested in Wendy’s restaurants, a fast-food hamburger chain based in his native Ohio. Mostly, it seems, he enjoy hunting, fishing, and golfing, while shuffling among his three homes in Florida, Cape Cod, and Weston, Mass., a suburb of Boston.
