What he’s doing: Reed’s long career in basketball ended in 2007, when his last stop was as an executive with the New Orleans Hornets. He lives in his native Louisiana in retirement. The zenith of his career since playing, spent in various coaching and management positions, occurred with the New Jersey Nets in 2002 and 2003, when the team reached the NBA Finals before losing to the Lakers and Spurs, respectively.
