In 2008, Cleveland Housing Court Judge Ray Pianka ordered a landlord in violation of several building codes on dozens of rental properties under house arrest in one of the units. Nicholas Dionisopoulos was forced to live in one of his own dilapidated rental houses for six months, fined $100,000, and also had to turn over all rent payments from tenants for repairs on his properties.
