Scarlett Johansson stars as Natasha Romanoff, also known as her alter ego the Black Widow, in the 2012 film. The Black Widow is a member of the Avengers in the film, which is also made up of Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). Like Hawkeye, the Black Widow does not have supernatural powers and relies on her fighting skills.
Johansson's character also appeared in the film "Iron Man 2," where her character first met Iron Man's real-life alter ego, billionaire Tony Stark.
