ABC's new show about something creepy in the jungle isn't the first to try to scare TV viewers
The TV series created by "Blue Velvet" director David Lynch aired from 1990 to 1991 and centered around the mystery of who killed the popular high school student Laura Palmer, who lived in the fictional Twin Peaks, Washington. It starred Kyle McLachlan as a pie-loving FBI agent and is remembered for its surreal plotlines and Lynch's exploration of the dark side of human nature.
