Apple is updating its iCloud platform to follow suit with Dropbox and Google Drive. Where it suffices with features, it suffers on storage — iCloud gives users 5 GB free, whereas Google Drive gives 15 GB for free and Dropbox gives a paltry 2 GB for free (500 MB bonuses for referrals up to 18 GB, more if you participate in its promotions).
Apple's storage upgrade pricing is also a bit steeper than Google Drive and Dropbox, with its 1 TB plan costing twice as much as Google Drive and Dropbox.
Full iCloud Drive functionality won’t be unlocked until your Apple devices are all updated – OS X 10.10 Yosemite on Mac, iOS 8 on mobile devices.
