It turns out Toddler is not a fan of sharing. "Everything in the world is divided up based on who owns it," Toddler explains. "We use the word 'yours' and, more important, 'mine' to label these items. There is a word called 'ours,' but it's only used to refer to things that are difficult to put in a bag, like sunlight, air, or the wetlands. Sand toys, trucks, dolls, and food can all be owned. Even though it sounds ridiculous, many adults believe that because children don't have formal employment, all of their possessions must be nonproprietary. This form of communism is not only dangerous but 100 percent no."
