5. Gilbert Roland

Langella was sitting talking to the actor while on the set of "The Mark of Zorro," a TV movie they made together,  when an assistant director came up and asked Roland if they could use his trailer for two extras to change costume, since he was outside. "Roland dresses with no one," the actor replied. After the director left, Langella says Roland turned to him and said, "I have to do that. It's expected of me." "No smile!" Langella writes. "No irony! He just stared at me in regal grandeur.... he was grand, imperious, and totally engaging.... I just loved every moment I could grab with him."
