Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

In his new memoir Dropped Names, Frank Langella recalls meetings and friendships with bold-face names.
Langella became acquainted with the legendary acting teacher, and one night Adler came to see him in a show that Langella said was bad, including his performance. Langella said when Adler came to see him afterwards, she made no comment about the performance, but simply gave him a music box. "Keep this near you," Adler said. "Wind it up and let it soothe."
