... for honoring Dexter McDougle, a player who missed almost his entire senior season. Edsall was so impressed with the way McDougle continued to support the team after a shoulder injury in the third game ended his final season that he created the Dexter McDougle Ultimate Team Player Award. Although McDougle could have quit attending games and practices, the defensive back was a constant presence, even at team meetings and as a spectator at road games.
