To his credit, Bass not only acknowledged that he didn’t know how to swim, but displayed a lot of humility by joining the children from a Boys & Girls Club of Boston in the shallow end to take his first lessons. Given that he is a sturdy 6 ft. 8 in. and 260 pounds, that made him look out of place. But Bass said he wanted to be comfortable in the water for his two young children.
