Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

Sadly, little is known about this game, other than neither war-era team was very good. Michigan State played only four games and the Spartans’ lone win occurred in this game, 8-0, versus a Maryland squad that went 1-7-1, was shut out four times, and averaged 5.1 points a game.
