Michael Vick, Nike team up again

Redemption is a beautiful (and financially rewarding) thing.
Michael Vick knows this better than anyone Friday, as Nike has re-signed him to an endorsement deal.
The new pact is for four years. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Eagles quarterback represented the sports apparel maker for six years, from the start of his NFL career in 2001 until his 2007 conviction on felony charges for participating in an illegal dogfighting ring in Virginia. He served 21 months in prison.
"Michael acknowledges his past mistakes," Nike said in a statement. "We do not condone those actions, but we support the positive changes he has made to better himself off the field."
This is the third endorsement deal Vick has signed since returning to the NFL in 2009.
Vick, who led Philadelphia to the NFC playoffs in 2010, was named the NFL's Comeback Player of the year by the Associated Press.
