Bill O'Reilly on Sarah Palin presidency: Why not? Nancy Pelosi's no genius

Bill O'Reilly for president? Probably not. The FOX News host said he doesn't have the cash to run against Obama but said Sarah Palin could be a good candidate if she "went to world affairs college."
The always-entertaining and left-enraging O'Reilly appeared on Good Morning America earlier today and seemed surprised when host George Stephanopoulos asked if he was thinking about running as a third-party candidate.
"Me?" O'Reilly scoffed. "I have more power doing what I'm doing than getting involved in the political process."

That's not the only reason though. There's the money issue.
"You need $150 million to run for president. Unless the Chinese are going to back me and I don't know if that's a good thing," he said.
Palin 101
What about Palin? Not ready for prime time yet, he said. But she's getting there.
"Sarah Palin needs to go to college. Political college. World affairs college. And she is," he said noting she's hired a team of advisers to get her up to speed on international affairs.
Knowledge not important
But is that necessary to have a thorough understanding of the issues?
Not really, he said. Look at our current crop of leaders.
"Give me a break. Nancy Pelosi's a genius?" he asked.
"So, yeah, [Palin] needs a little more seasoning but don't tell me Harry Reid, Boehner, and Pelosi are geniuses. They're not," he said. "The country's in a mess."
Palin = Doom
Democrats think, however, that anything Palin-related is radioactive.
Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee chair Bob Menendez said yesterday that Palin will be one of the reasons that Republicans don't wrest control of the senate in 2010.
