ABC's new show about something creepy in the jungle isn't the first to try to scare TV viewers
The show, which ran from 1995 to 1996, was set in Trinity, S.C., a fictional town, and featured actor Gary Cole as the evil Sheriff Buck, who is able to use mysterious powers to manipulate people into doing what he wants. Buck's biological son, Caleb, and others in the town try to fight against him throughout the series.
