10. "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley

The futuristic novel was published in 1932 and is best for students in high school and older. The novel is based in the future, in the year 2540 A.D., and predicts numerous societal shifts around the way humans reproduce, learn, and even manipulate one another. The author revisits his original work and predictions more than 20 years after the original book, in his follow up novel "Brave New World Revisited."
