6. Skip the pajamas

Jimmy Kimmel may have gotten away with wearing pajamas to host the 2012 Emmy's, but high school students should check their school dress code before wearing flannels to school.

While pajamas have become quite popular on college campuses, half of the high schools surveyed banned all sleepwear, including pajama pants and slippers.

However, at some schools, students are invited to dress in pajamas as part of a special day, so save the flannels for PJ Day.
