While hip hop moguls and rock stars have made saggy pants popular, on the whole schools are not down with the trend.

The style, which mimics the ill-fitting garb worn in prisons, has raised concerns among school administrators about restricted movement and concealment of weapons.

Eighty percent of schools surveyed insist that students wear their pants firmly hitched at the waist and that boxers remain covered.
