Daughter to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill and Victoria’s Secret model Lily Aldridge, Dixie Pearl was born June 21, 2012. She is the first child for Ms. Aldridge and Mr. Followill, who married in California in May 12, 2011. “She’s our angel!” tweeted Aldridge.
Her name has roots in the South as seen in her parents' choice of “Dixie,” which was the title of the Confederate anthem. (The word “Dixie” is believed to have come from $10 notes issued by a New Orleans bank stamped with the French word “dix,” which means 10.)
