The Seagram Building

Towering 516 feet over midtown Manhattan, the Seagram Building is mass of sharp lines and glass – a kind of vertically-oriented take on the squatter Farnsworth House. Work began on the Seagram building in 1954, and the skyscraper was finished in 1958. Originally designed as the headquarters of the Seagram's beverage company, the building is now owner by RFR, an international real estate firm.
