Syrian refugee crisis: How to give

The turmoil in Syria has put more than 12 million Syrians in need of humanitarian aid and forced more than 4 million into refugee camps in surrounding countries, according to Amnesty International. Here are four charities tackling the crisis.

ShelterBox focuses on supplying temporary shelters and tools to start rebuilding lives. The charity sends out quick-response teams equipped with 120-pound boxes filled with a shelter, a stove, blankets, and basic tools.
