Co-founder of Google, Sergey Brin is the 11th richest person in America, with a net worth of $31.7 billion. Last year Mr. Brin donated $383 million, 1.2 percent of his worth, to the Brin Wojcicki Foundation. "The philanthropy directs most of its support to Ashoka, a nonprofit that brings together social entrepreneurs to work on education, the environment, and women’s issues; the Human Rights Foundation; and Tipping Point Community, which seeks to eliminate poverty in Northern California," says Philanthropy 50.
