Queen Victoria's children's book will be released this summer

According to the Telegraph, a children’s story written by the monarch when the queen was 10 years old will be published this June by the Royal Collection Trust. It’s titled “The Adventures of Alice Laselles” and follows a girl who goes to boarding school after her father enters into a new marriage.
“If Victoria hadn’t been destined to be the Queen, I think she might have made a remarkable novelist,” author Jacqueline Wilson wrote in an introduction for the book, according to the Guardian.
Some of the book’s illustrations will include digitally manipulated versions of paper dolls created by Queen Victoria and the monarch’s governess, Baroness Louise Lehzen. Etchings by Cristina Pieropan will also be included in the work.
