Author Karen Russell’s short story collection “St. Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised By Wolves” is set to be adapted for TV.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the adaptation of "St. Lucy's" is taking place at ABC. Writer Jenny Bicks, who is also behind the upcoming TV adaptation of the memoir “Marley and Me,” is supervising the project, with Channing Powell of “The Walking Dead” on board to write the adaptation.

Russell’s collection was first published in 2007 and centers on twins Felix and Claudette, who attend the titular boarding school and have a profound effect on its students and the residents of the surrounding town of Green Hills, Maine.

Russell is also the author of “Swamplandia!,” which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for fiction, and the short story collection “Vampires in the Lemon Grove,” as well as the novella “Sleep Donation.”
