The Secret of Raven Point by Jennifer Vanderbes is a historical novel with a sweet and sad love story intertwined with the horror of World War II. The story is told through the nurses and doctors as they cared for the wounded while coping with sparse supplies, dangerous conditions, hot summers, and freezing winters as they continued a dangerous move over the Alps. It was an "unforgettable saga" and history unknown to me.
