Dear Sir:

We enclose herewith an obituary notice which we have long had in stock and have impatiently awaited an opportunity to publish in our weekly edition of the Cork Center Gazette, but have been prevented from giving to the public through a neglect on your part to take such action as would make the article available. We notice your advertisement in Harper's Weekly of November 15th, and hasten to enroll ourselves as competitors for the prize you offer for the best obituary upon your demise.
