This classic adventure tale includes an underlying story of constancy, faith, and love. Odysseus spends 20 years away from home adventuring and battling. For him, though, it's all about the destination, and not the journey. He's just a man who wants to get home to his family. Parts of the story can be viewed as allegory for trials that all couples go through. In the end, Odysseus finds his way home to his wife and bed, safe and sound.
