Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

The collection of photos seen in 'Paris' were edited and chosen by Doisneau's daughter, Francine Derondille, and many were previously unreleased. The book divides Doisneau's images into sections such as "Paris at Play" and "Paris by Surprise," with quotes from Doisneau accompanying many of the images as well as a biography about the photographer's life.
