'The Hunger Games': 10 favorite scenes

Before the Games begin, each contestant has a private session with the judges in which they get to show off any talent they have with weaponry. Katniss has survived at home by using her bow and arrow to kill food and is prepared to show off her archery skills, but the judges ignore her because District 12 is not known for producing winners, unlike other districts who train their children to survive in the Games. Katniss loses her temper as a roast pig is brought in for the judges and shoots the apple inside the pig's mouth, startling them and finally getting their attention. When the scores for private sessions are released, Katniss has earned the highest numbers of any contestant.
