Watch: Cybersecurity meets privacy in a connected world

We live in a connected world that continues to get more complicated. Traditionally, security and privacy have been separate disciplines, but with greater connectivity those lines are starting to intersect more often and with less clarity.
For this Privacy Lab event, Ed Adams, CEO of Security Innovation, will use connected cars as a case study to explore how privacy and security go hand in hand.
By 2017, all new cars will carry Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) equipment and will broadcast speed and location to sense hazards alert the driver. These new features are designed to save lives but the benefits carry serious concerns about safety and privacy. Ed will explore these issues and discuss how security and privacy can work better together to protect consumer and user data.
After the talk, audience members will have an opportunity discuss about how privacy and security can better work together to better address increasingly complicated products and technologies.
