The day's events will include a symposium bringing together technologists, government officials, privacy advocates, and scholars to discuss four cutting-edge topics: the aftermath of the “going dark” debate; the evolving regulatory environment for the rapidly-growing security-research sector including export controls; the prospects for private entities to engage in “active defense” of their networks including the “hackback” debate; and botnet takedowns.
In addition to steaming panels live from this page, Passcode will also post highlights of the day's events on Twitter. Join the conversation with #UTCyber and follow us @CSMPasscode and @strausscenter.
