Ras Lanuf is a key oil town. It is home home to Ras Lanuf Oil Refinery, a major oil terminal, and several oil pipelines. Other petrochemicals are produced there as well. It has a small port on the Gulf of Sirte.

Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.
