In Philadelphia, the fans can be quick to call for the quarterback’s head if the starter errs too often. So the backup always needs to be ready, especially if he’s the understudy to Michael Vick, who probably is more regularly banged up than others at his position. Fortunately, the Eagles are so high on Nick Foles that they’ve moved him ahead of veteran Trent Edwards on the depth chart.
