What he’s doing: Unseld and his wife, Connie, are so deeply committed to the education of inner-city Baltimore children that they started their own school, The Unselds’ School, which reputedly is the only accredited school in the nation for infants through 8th graders. Unseld has devoted himself to being a father figure at the family-oriented school since spending about nearly 30 years with the Baltimore/Washington Bullets as a player, coach, and executive.
