Jogger finds baby after car stolen in Houston

Houston police are looking for a man wanted in Monday's nearly seven-hour disappearance of Genesis Haley.

An Amber Alert has been canceled after an 8-month-old girl in a car stolen from a Houston gas station was found unharmed in a field.

Houston police are looking for a man wanted in Monday's nearly seven-hour disappearance of Genesis Haley.

The mother told police that she left Genesis asleep in the running car around 1 a.m. CDT Monday while going into the station to pay for gas. The mom then saw her vehicle being driven away.

Authorities about two hours later found the vehicle but Genesis and her car seat were gone.

A jogger shortly before 8 a.m. heard crying and discovered Genesis, in her car seat, in a brushy area near where the vehicle was abandoned.

The baby was evaluated at a hospital and returned to her mother.
