The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have revealed a redesigned helmet and logo, part of a new look for next season.

Pro Bowl defensive tackle Gerald McCoy joined Hall of Famer Warren Sapp on the NFL Network to make the announcement on Thursday night.

The Bucs will continue to wear pewter color helmets. In addition to an enlarged logo, still featuring a red battle flag with a skull sitting over crossed swords and a football, the head gear will sport the first chrome facemasks used by a NFL team.

It is Tampa Bay's first helmet and logo redesign since 1997, when the Bucs stopped wearing creamsicle orange jerseys and a helmet bearing the image of a winking pirate.

A news conference is set for March 5 to unveil redesigned uniforms.
