Super Tuesday 101: Who’s ahead where

Ten states are holding presidential primaries or caucuses Tuesday – and many Republicans are hoping the results begin to bring an unusually volatile primary season to a close.

Here’s what to look for Tuesday night, state by state:

4. Virginia, 46 delegates

Since Gingrich and Santorum are not on the ballot in Virginia, this is a battle between Romney and Ron Paul.

Mr. Paul could get a small number of delegates if he manages to win a congressional district, but otherwise, this is Romney’s state. Given the lack of competition, it doesn’t mean much symbolically, but it’s a good place for him to rack up yet more delegates.
