The Third Congressional District of Michigan, centered on Grand Rapids, is GOP-leaning territory, so Republican House candidate Justin Amash is favored to win.

Mr. Amash, a young member of the Michigan House of Representatives, is something of a tea party and new media star, with a heavy presence on Facebook and some national conservative support. Ron Paul (R) of Texas – the libertarian father of Kentucky Senate candidate Rand Paul.
