Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

She had been engaged to Richard despite being in love with her (distant) cousin, Matthew, because she had become embroiled in a scandal and believed she had to marry him to escape notoriety. However, after she ended things with Richard, Matthew proposed to her and they became engaged.
