Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.
The Church publishes the Monitor because it sees good journalism as vital to progress in the world. Since 1908, we’ve aimed “to injure no man, but to bless all mankind,” as our founder, Mary Baker Eddy, put it.

The 1999 animated series about the crew of a pizza delivery ship in the future aired until 2003 and was never officially canceled, but the show's network, Fox, declined to order more episodes. The channel Comedy Central began airing the show in syndication, and it was later announced that new episodes would begin airing on Comedy Central starting in 2010. The show was renewed after the 26 original new episodes started and is still currently on television.
