Me and My Big Sister

A poem.

Me and My Big Sister If I hold on tight enough,
 I will be all right.
I won't slip off my seat.
 I won't fall down
 on my dark shadow.
My sister never sees her shadow. She is up there above me,
 high and dreamy.
 She doesn't see
 the bad sky behind us.
I'm scared for my big sister. When we get off our swings,
 if I take her hand,
if I take her the safe way home,
 she will be all right.
