John Pasquin's 1994 film stars Tim Allen as Scott Calvin, who gets custody of his son on Christmas Eve. After an accident occurs, he soon finds himself traveling to the North Pole with his son Charlie and becoming Santa Claus himself.
The movie spawned two sequels, one titled "The Santa Clause 2: The Mrs. Clause," in which Scott discovers he must marry in order to remain Santa Claus, and "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause," which stars actor Martin Short as Jack Frost.
Actor Eric Lloyd, who portrayed Scott's son Charlie, reprised his role in the two sequels along with many other cast members.
