Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson, and Hamilton Luske's 1950 film follows the title character, a girl who is forced to live as a servant by her stepmother and stepsisters until she takes matters into her own hands and goes to a royal ball, where she meets a prince.
The singing voice for the prince, who is known only as Prince Charming, was supplied by singer Mike Douglas, who also hosted a daytime program titled "The Mike Douglas Show" from 1961 to 1982.
Singer Perry Como later recorded a version of the song performed by Cinderella's fairy godmother titled "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo."
