The Pixar movie that imagined a slightly different version of the monster-in-the-closet story will be re-released in January 2013 after first coming out in 2001. Mary Gibbs, the daughter of Rob Gibbs, who was one of the film's story artists, voiced the toddler Boo, but Mary wasn't old enough to stand in front of a microphone and say her lines. Instead, the production team held a microphone out while she played and then they spliced together what she said.
