History Channel's 'The Bible' miniseries aired March 3. The show's production continues the History Channel's movement away from informative historical programming into sensationalist presentation not suited for children.

We offered a word of caution for parents considering watching "The Bible" miniseries with their kids. While many parents looked forward to the experience of sharing the series with children when it premiered on the History Channel, it quickly became apparent that the producers for the cable series had taken a very graphic and at times blood-drenched direction with the storytelling in the series.
