"Modern Family" cast members pose with Ed O'Neill as he receives a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In anticipation of the upcoming 63rd Annual EMMY Awards (Airing Sunday September 18th at 8PM on FOX, CTV in Canada) theTVaddict.com is proud [or not-so-proud depending on how things turn out] to once again present our GUARANTEED EMMY WINNERS 2011*

NOMINEES: THE BIG BANG THEORY, GLEE, MODERN FAMILY, THE OFFICE, PARKS AND RECREATION, 30 ROCK

SHOULD WIN: PARKS AND RECREATION
Unlike a certain Country’s current crop of political operatives, this look at the inner workings of a government body — thanks in no small part to award-worthy performances from an all-star ensemble — is intentionally funny.

WILL WIN: MODERN FAMILY
With its uniformly loveable cast and writing that consistently knocks it out of the park, MODERN FAMILY — like many of our past TV favorites — more than demonstrated over course of its sophomore season that it has all the trappings of an Emmy-worthy comedy. What’s more, unlike many of our past TV favorites (including ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, GROSSE POINTE and/or BETTER OFF TED, among others) people actually watch this one!

SNUBBED: EPISODES
Suffice it to say, the only unfunny thing about Matt LeBlanc’s hilarious and somewhat scathing look at the ugly truth behind how the dream factory that is Hollywood was that its first season that ended almost a year ago was an all-too-brief seven episodes.

*theTVaddict.com does not guarantee his “winning picks.” Do not, I repeat, Do not bet the house, kids or family pet on them!
