Marvin the Paranoid Android from “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” (2005)

Marvin the Paranoid Android is a GPP (Genuine People Personality) robot with too many human qualities and foibles. Marvin is an example of how something with “a brain the size of a planet” can be both a help and hilarious hindrance. He’s depressed. He has issues. Still, he saves the day, even though he doesn’t enjoy doing it.
