'The Office' wedding a YouTube homage

Call it art imitating life imitating art. Or something like that.
Viewers tuned in to Thursday night's special wedding episode of NBC's "The Office" were treated to a YouTube-inspired dance party.
In the episode's climactic wedding ceremony scene, Steve Carrell's Michael Scott hijacks the nuptials of Jim and Pam (John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer) and the cast breaks into an at-once painful, sweet, and hilarious reenactment of the JK Wedding Entrance Dance.
Regular readers will remember that name from our coverage of the viral Youtube hit from July. Since we last checked in on it, the clip has racked up an impressive 26 million more views, been featured on the Today show, and been spoofed (once pretty controversially).
Real-life bride and groom Jill and Kevin set up a web site commemorating their moment in the Web spotlight and calling for donations to the Sheila Wellstone Institute, a foundation dedicated to the prevention of violence. (The song "Forever," featured in both their video and the 'Office' episode, is sung by Chris Brown, who became embroiled in a domestic violence case with pop star Rihanna.)
After Thursday's episode, the song shot back to the top of the Soul/R&B charts.
