7. Zillow

Zillions + pillows = Zillow.

Yes, the online real estate database decided to splice two words together that were integral to their mission. 

Diane Tuman, content manager at Zillow, explains on the company's website:

“The Zillow name evolved from the desire to make zillions of data points for homes accessible to everyone,” she writes. “And, since a home is about more than just data – it is where you lay your head to rest at night, like a pillow – ‘Zillow’ was born.”
