Life of a refugee in America: our overview, in print and online

All year, we've followed Bill Clinton Hadam's refugee family as they adjust to life in the US. This journey has led all sorts of surprising places, from Atlanta's Municipal Court to Tanzania's refugee camps. Today, it takes us to Washington, where US refugee policy - a system

advocates call "fundamentally broken" - is made and funded.
